Dove Bingo Review

Introduction

A dove often brings peace but with this bingo site it hopefully brings some big wins too.  Here’s another colourful bingo site that is fun to play and provides its players with the chance to win lots of cash via its games and promotions but isn’t always up to scratch in all departments.

If you like sites that are rather cartoonish in their appearance, then this is going to be right up your street. The site has plenty of bingo games for you to try your luck on and four figure jackpots are on the line. With plenty of slot games on offer too, this is a site that is worth visiting and is easy to navigate around

The site is operated by Jumpman Gaming Limited who are licensed and regulated by both the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission. The company have several other online bingo sites including Oh My Bingo and BingoPort Bingo.

Joining Dove Bingo

The good news here is that it doesn’t take at all long for you to register with this site and That’s something this Dove Bingo review is delighted about. No one wants to be spending ages filling in forms when there are bingo prizes to be won.

Look up to the top right-hand corner of the screen and you will see the big gold ‘Join Now’ button. Click on that and the registration form comes up, you can opt for the quick PayPal registration if you wish or just fill in your details below with the usual set of answers to the questions you’ve probably read loads of times before when joining similar sites.

Welcome Offer

Now you are a member of the Dove Bingo site, it’s time to get the welcome offer. When you go to the site, you may be expecting to see a whole load of doves, but the top half of the page is dominated by the Mega Wheel and they don’t come much more Mega than this one. The Mega Wheel option began in October 2017, before that there was a dove who plucked a worm from the soil to reveal your bonus. It’s not known if the dove or wheel have found subsequent employment.

The welcome offer at Dove Bingo allows you to have a free spin of the Mega Wheel after an initial deposit of at least £10. The prizes available on the wheel are mainly free spins on certain games with the top amount being 500 on Fluffy Favourites, though what is on offer ca change at any time without notice. Other prizes at the time of writing this Dove Bingo review include Amazon vouchers but one segment simply says ‘Unlucky’ which isn’t much of a welcome.

There are wagering requirements on any winnings you get from free spins awarded and this comes to a massive 65x so if you win £10 from your free spins, you have to wager £650 before withdrawals can be made from your account and only bonus wagers contribute towards fulfilling the wagering requirements. The maximum bonus amount that can eventually become real cash is £250.

Promotions Aplenty

Become a VIP

The VIP Scheme at Dove Bingo has five levels for you to make your way through. You start off as a member, then go up to Bronze, Silver and Gold. On several other sites the top level is usually platinum but at Dove Bingo it’s Black, not quite sure why though.

The further up you climb, the better the rewards and the more you deposit and play, the more kudos you earn which is their word for VIP points and you get one for every pound spent on the site. There are several rewards available in the VIP Scheme. In terms of weekly cash back you have to be at least Bronze level and receive 1%. This rises to 10% when becoming a Black VIP.

There are free spins offers which start off at 5 for members but stay at that amount when getting to Bronze level which requires the customer to earn 101 kudos. They do increase though with 10 for Silver, 15 for Gold and 20 for Black. A birthday bonus is received regardless of which level you are at. To keep your VIP level, you need to meet the minimum monthly wagering requirement for your level which is £20,000+ at Black level.

Double Weekly Cashback

This applies to new customers for their first 31 days as a member. It all depends on what VIP level you have reached so you need to get to Bronze level to get 2%. cashback and if you reach Black VIP within a month there’s 20%. weekly cashback, though you will need to spend £5000 to do so.

Jackpot Games

Each month Dove Bingo has two huge jackpot games with the chance to win a share of £10,000. The Pay Day Jackpot game is played at 9pm on the last Friday of the month and all can play with tickets costing 50p. The VIP Jackpot game is only available to the top two levels and takes place on the final day of the month at 9pm with a £1 ticket price. Both games see the winner of the full house win £2500.

Happy Hour is Here

Every Wednesday there is the chance to win ten or more free spins on a slot game. All you need to do is log in between 3 and 7pm and be a funded player to have a chance to get on the Mega Wheel.

Trophy Time

The site gives players fun tasks to achieve in order to unlock trophies and at every level there’s a free spin of the Mega Wheel.

Lots to Play at Dove Bingo

There won’t be many dull moments for you when joining Dove Bingo. There’s a whole range of games to be playing whether it be bingo, slots or casino games so let’s take a look first at what is on offer for bingo players.

Thank Your Lucky Stars

The Lucky Stars Bingo Room has a progressive jackpot to be won. To be able to get your hands on that you need a full house in 39 or less numbers. Tickets only cost 1p for this

Free Bingo

If you fancy some free bingo, then there are two rooms where playing won’t cost you a penny. The Free Bingo Room is open daily from 9am to 1pm and the VIP Free Bingo Room between 8pm and 10pm every day for those who are at least Bronze level. You do need to have wagered at least five pounds in the past seven days to play in either room.

Fair and Square

Here’s another 1p game but the prizes are a lot higher than in the Lucky Stars Room. One line gets you £30 and a full house £75 but this is restricted to 48 players.

Spin those Reels

There are plenty of slot games to play on the Dove Bingo site and they come from some impressive slots providers including Microgaming and NetEnt which means this part of the Dove Bingo review is going to be a good one.

The games include ‘Lucky Leprechaun,’ ‘Legends of Cleopatra’ and ‘Diamond Strike.’ The website divides the games up into ‘Hot Slots’ and the new ones that are continually being added to the site. Then there are the jackpot games where your whole life could be changed on the spin of a reel. Games here include ‘Piggy Payout Jackpot’ and ‘Mega Moolah.’ At Dove Bingo you can also play some casino games such as ‘European Roulette’ and ‘Blackjack.’

Smooth Financial Transactions

This Dove Bingo review is of the opinion that there aren’t going to be any problems with financial transactions. Dove Bingo meet the Gambling Commission's basic protection requirements when it comes to the segregation of customer funds and your card details are stored securely to allow quick deposits to be made into our account.

Up at the top of the page there’s a huge ‘Banking’ sign that you just can’t miss. Click on that and your first task is to choose your payment method. Then there are options as to how much you wish to deposit into your account with the minimum amount being £10.

Payment methods available include Maestro, PayPal, Paysafecard, Visa, Mastercard and Pay by Mobile so you shouldn’t have any problem finding one to use. You can add up to three cards at any one time, but the site only deals in pound sterling.

It’s also possible to set deposit limits so that you don’t get carried away and gamble far too much. The site does include information about responsible gaming which is good to see. The minimum amount that you can withdraw from your Dove Bingo site is £10. Just how long the cash will take to get back to your account depends on the method you are using though it’s usually 1-3 days according to the FAQ section of the site.

Help is at Hand

With sites of this nature there’s a lot to deal with and it’s always likely that there are going to be some facts about the site that you just don’t know. That’s particularly going to be the case when you are new to the site or a brand-new promotion comes along.

The site has a comprehensive FAQs section that is more than likely to answer your queries. This can be anything from how to make deposits and withdrawals, technical issues, questions about the promotions and bonuses, particularly the wagering requirements. You can even find out what ‘SWFO Object’ means.

There’s also a terms and conditions page and if still stuck, there are several more options available including live chat, emailing support@dovebingo.com or using WhatsApp.  The hours of customer support are 9.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays which isn’t ideal to be honest and needs to be extended a bit in the future.

Dove on the Move

With sites of this nature with so much going on, an app is a big bonus allowing you to be playing games whenever you want and wherever you are.  Now we encounter a bit of a problem. The desktop site doesn’t need to be downloaded, though they do recommend using the Google Chrome browser, but sadly there’s no app for IOS or Android to be seen.

You can at least play the site if your mobile can get on the internet and it does have the same games to play so all is not lost but it’s another area in which they can improve.

Conclusion

It has to be said that there are a lot of better sites out there than Dove Bingo. To be honest there aren’t actually that many doves on show, we just get two or three white ones on either side of the games in the middle, so the theme could have been better adhered to.

The welcome offer isn’t the best out there, especially if that Mega Wheel fails to live up to its name and comes up with ‘Unlucky.’ The prizes on offer are mostly free spins and some free bingo games would be handy too. The wagering requirements associated to wins from the free spins are far too high at 65x.

The limited time that live chat is available for is also disappointing but at least the FAQs and terms and conditions sections are helpful. The games on offer are good but not really that original and again titles don’t adhere to the dove theme.

What this Dove Bingo review found a bit strange though was that the home page features the Mega Wheel and a list of all the slot games on the site. Even when clicking on ‘All Games’ slots come up first so pushing the bingo could be a lot better on this site.  You can have a good time on this site, but it does need a decent bit of work on it in the coming weeks and months.
